1. Data We Collect
When you use Kindoop, we collect information necessary to connect families in your local circle. This includes item title, category, age range, condition, photos, child preferences (name, age, size), and optional account credentials (name, email address).
2. Location Privacy
Kindoop uses approximate location services to show nearby items and calculate approximate distances (e.g. "0.8 mi away"). Your exact home address is never shown publicly or shared with other users. You control when to coordinate a handoff with another parent via direct messaging.
3. Authentication and Security
If you sign in using Sign in with Apple or email authentication, your account credentials are processed securely. Authentication session tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain.
4. Item Photos and Camera Access
Camera and photo library access is requested only when you choose to photograph or upload an item to give away. Item photos are used solely to generate your listing and assist with handoffs.
5. Data Sharing and Advertising
Kindoop does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not use your personal information or child preferences for targeted advertising or third-party cross-app tracking.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
You can delete your listings at any time directly within the app under Profile → My Listings. You can also sign out or request complete account and data deletion by contacting support.
